CalEnergy Resources Limited (“CalEnergy”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northern Powergrid which is in turn owned by Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company, which is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, U.S.

The group of operating companies headed by CalEnergy currently participates in upstream oil and gas projects in Australia, Poland and the U.K.  

CalEnergy currently has three offices located in:
 

-    London, UK
 

-    Perth, Western Australia
 

-    Warsaw, Poland

CalEnergy or its predecessor companies have been active in oil and gas since the 1970s, and the group has participated in all phases of the upstream business from exploration through appraisal, development, production and decommissioning operations.  

Since 2002, CalEnergy has become both a gas producer and exploration operator in Poland and has played an integral part in the development of two stranded offshore
gas assets in S.E. Australia. CalEnergy has maintained its operating capability in the UK North Sea.

CalEnergy currently is an active operator in both Australia and Poland and is actively pursuing energy transition and renewable projects throughout Europe and Australia.
