Southern Gas Basin, UK

Saturn Banks assets are a mixture of non-operated and operated gas fields and pipeline infrastructures in the Southern North Sea including Thames Reception Facility (as part of Bacton Gas Terminal) on the Norfolk coast.  Blythe gas (non-operated) field is currently producing from an NUI at a modest rate and gas is transported to Bacton terminal through owned pipeline infrastructures. Elgood gas field is a subsea well which is tied back to Blythe platform. Both Blythe and Elgood fields started production in 2022 and will benefit from onshore compression later in 2026. Southwark is a tight gas field which failed to produce at commercial rates and plans are currently afoot to lighthouse the NUI and re-use the platform. Elland is a discovered resource, immediately north of Southwark.

The Saturn Banks reception facilities separates and meters gas and liquids produced ashore from the 24" pipeline then passes those fluids to the Perenco UK operated gas processing facilities at Bacton before redelivery for sales into the National Grid Gas network and North Walsham Terminal (condensate delivery point).

Blythe and Elgood gas fields, pipelines, PL 4956, PL 5079, PL 4955 and PLU 5039, and Thames Reception Facility.
