The P2400 licence is a promising exploration block located in the Central North Sea, approximately 60 km south of the Erskine field. Covering blocks 30/12c (part), 30/13c (split), 30/17h, and 30/18c within the prolific Central Graben, this acreage features four play fairways and six mapped prospects. Significant prospectivity at the Palaeocene Mey Sandstone and Cretaceous Chalk levels, with additional potential in the deeper Jurassic Fulmar play. The JV has an exploration well obligation to be discharged by 2027 on Skerryvore prospect which is dual target (Mey and Chalk). The licence, awarded in 2018 during the UK’s 30th offshore licensing round, offers the potential for tie-backs to existing infrastructure.
