Travis Enman
Business Development Director
Travis joined CalEnergy in 2011 with initial responsibility for the stewardship of the Australian upstream business and its performance (EHS, technical, commercial and financial). Since 2011 Travis led the establishment of CalEnergy’s operating capability both onshore and offshore Australia. Travis’ current responsibility extends to the identification and capture of new business opportunities centred on and built outward from the United Kingdom and Australia.
Travis has in excess of 20 years international upstream oil and gas experience having worked in both operated and non-operated joint ventures at Woodside Energy, Cooper Energy and Shell. Travis holds a BSc (Hons) degree from Adelaide University majoring in Petroleum Geology & Geophysics and a Graduate Diploma in Oil & Gas Engineering from University of Western Australia.
Simon Smith
General Manager Project Delivery
Simon joined Calenergy in 2018, and is an oil and gas professional with 19 years of worldwide experience. His career has included working with companies including Ophir, Engie, Total and BP in roles within the UKCS as well as internationally focussed positions covering Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Indonesia, Mauritania and Malaysia. He has a proven track record of delivery in areas such as; Operated and non-operated Asset Management, Commercial negotiation, Reserves and Production Reporting, Strategy, Economic Evaluation and Internal and External Stakeholder management.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Science (Geoscience) Honours Degree from the University of St. Andrew’s and a Masters of Science in Petroleum Geoscience (Geology) from Imperial college. Simon is also a certified Project Manager.
